Giselle Rocha
Giselle Rocha is a Chicana cultural strategist, arts educator, and organizer whose work lives at the intersection of art, healing, and social impact. Guided by the belief that creativity can be a tool for collective care, cultural memory, and transformation, she develops community-centered experiences that bridge artistic practice with advocacy, wellness, and systems change.
With over a decade of experience across nonprofit, grassroots, and educational spaces, Giselle’s multidisciplinary background spans visual design, trauma-informed facilitation, communications, and youth development. She has led arts-based initiatives ranging from restorative leadership programs for Transitional Age Youth and trauma-informed curriculum design to collaborative campaigns, partnerships, and community-centered cultural programming.
As co-founder of heARTSpace, Giselle cultivates creative spaces that uplift artists and borderland communities through arts access, wellness, and cultural organizing in San Diego. Trained in restorative justice, motivational interviewing, and behavioral health practices, she brings a deeply people-centered approach to facilitation, collaboration, and community building.
Giselle continues to support regional efforts in arts advocacy, youth empowerment, and social change. Her work is grounded in creating inclusive, healing-centered spaces where creativity, culture, and connection can thrive.
